June 20 - International Refugee Day

June 21st is International Refugee Day, our NGO partnered with a few other organizations to bring refugees together to celebrate this day through a cultural exchange event. Refugees and migrants in the community were invited to join us to celebrate their cultures through traditional dances and music.

The event also served as a graduation ceremony for the young migrants and refugees who successfully completed a computer science course offered for free by a local company as an extra curriculum activity. This company’s foundation created this program along with English courses to empower migrant and refugee youth through skills building.
